When a Dwarven barista gave him a raised eyebrow for what it <em>looked</em> like he was trying to do, Jaeger could only catch her eyes, give a nod over his shoulder to Juno, and a small shrug as if to ask, "Can you blame me?". With an amused smirk, the barista went back to foaming some soymilk, letting Elves do whatever it is that they get involved in.</p><p></p><p>Thankfully, the single-occupant-designed restroom was well maintained. Jaeger quickly locked the door behind them, stepping back to give Juno some space.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: firebrick">" Sorry, but the streets aren't really the place for this. Now."</span></p><p></p><p>Taking in a deep breath, Jaeger regarded his runner companion with a deep stare. His Third Eye slid open, <em>Hundgeist</em> sniffing over the razorgirl and relaying his insights into Fredrick's mind. Where the chrome was, all he could see was the dull dark of the faded material world, but there were still vibrant bits of Juno's essence left over: pieces of pure, brilliant light resonating within the Astral. The loss of the soul was something deeply saddening to the Elf, but he knew the Sixth World, he knew the sacrifices that needed to be made to get by. </p><p></p><p>The dullness of the cyberware would make this more difficult, but Jaeger focused more, trying to read the ebb and flow of what made Juno <em>Juno</em>, and how he might manipulate it. To coax that vibrancy to not just dull, but invert and become like shadow. Light could be bent: he just needed to place the mirrors properly. It took an uncomfortably long silence of Jaeger and <em>Hundgeist</em> communicating on how best to accomplish this, but Mage and Spirit eventually agreed and joined back together. </p><p></p><p>The colors of the material world bled back into view, leaving Jaeger a little underwhelmed: the Astral was so far beyond mere mortal sight and even the wonders of The Matrix that it was almost a ... disappointment to venture back from it. However, he gave Juno a small smile, nodding as if in reply to a question that wasn't asked.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: firebrick">" It won't be easy, but I think I can make you invisible. Then we can go scope out that building. <em>Um erlaubnis bitten</em>?"</span> he asked, holding up his hand.
