Hi all - A 5 year long years and 39 sessions, my campaign is coming to an end. My players will be fighting a rival team in a colosseum match that I've been hyping up for years now.
To spice things up a bit I thought the rival team would recruit a random NPC they've met on their travels, only I couldn't decide which one... That is when I thought I would pose the question to the internet and have random strangers decide for me!

You get 3 votes each, one for a different NPC my players have encountered on their long adventure. I'd be happy to give more context on an NPC if needed, but perhaps the ambiguity and mystery might add to it!

It's not really random if you use whoever gets the most votes, is it?

I'd vote for: Surprise the PCs with a formidable anti-party that, just as the fight should begin, lays down its weapons and offers praise and honor for a campaign well played. Then the spectators (master of ceremonies?) joins the tribute, too.
