I was thinking about doing this. Davon should be getting them kicked out of town (mow at 11th level NPC's could "try" to run us out :D ). The thing is, it's not bad been the mouthpiece, it's just that I end up taking charge. Maybe part of it's my fault, if I'd been willing to let things go to hell at first and wait for somebody else to pick the pieces when we lost the player who had the "leader" (GM's ex-girlfriend, 1 1/2 later she's one of the other player's girlfriend . ). When she left, somebody had to pick up th reins, and I guess in order to get the story to move on I stepped up. Looking back, I can see I have issues as well. My previous game had me turning the assasin character into the defato leader as well. The only good thing is that I did it from "behind the scenes" (lying to the other characters ALL the time). But still, that assasin was supposed to be my chance to play a "loner" character. So now that I've had this epiphany (sp?), I can add another question: How do I keep myself from being the party leader? Although this still doesn't excuse the aforementioned mage (played by my younger brother) from shirking his duties whern the GM tailors an adventure to his character.
