He raises his other hand and point towards the pair... and suddenly a pitch black shadow appears before them and blocking their view of the floating sphere and pillars! Down below the man this Gand shot shakes off and pain he is felling and shot at Reks but both bolts missed!!! He then darted to another pillar when a short, four-legged droid made an appearance as it moved forward, firing at Reks but again the Knight is able to deflect the blasts!</p><p> </p><p></p><p>[gm]<strong>Initiative </strong></p><p><strong>This Gand</strong> -24</p><p>The Dark Lady -23</p><p><strong>Cal</strong> - 22</p><p>Malonnu – 17</p><p>Parlex Dornith – 16</p><p><strong>Jihahna</strong> - 15</p><p>Gall Hsloth -13</p><p>Sith Mark III Droid -11</p><p><strong>Kacela</strong> - 9</p><p><strong>Reks</strong> – 8</p><p></p><p>[sblock=Results]This Gand shots and would have missed Parlex all 3 times. Spending a Force Point means the first attack roll (minimum is +2 which is what you needed) hits for 25 damage (bring him down to 51 HP and <em>Reeling</em> condition).</p><p>Targo rolls to shot Parlex, <a href="http://roll.coyotecode.net/lookup.php?rollid=150677" target="_blank">Attack roll, damage if he hits: 1D20+5 = [12]+5 = 17; 3D8+3 = [4, 1, 6]+3 = 14</a>, but he missed.</p><p>Cal double moves down the stair and to cover by the pillars. He has Total cover from all the villains right now unless they move.</p><p>Kacela spends two Force Points and disrupts the flow of Force Energy into the Infinity Gate. Basically it is not going to re-start for at least one additional minute (10 rounds) and will make a roll to recover something similar to <em>Reeling</em> after that. </p><p>Jihahna spends a Force Point to use Battle Meditation granting all the heroes +2 to attack rolls, ability checks and skill rolls, and also +2 to Will Defense for the rest of the battle or until Jihahna is Incapacitated or reduced to 0 HP. These bonuses start next round...</p><p>Reks double moves but cannot quite make it to cover. </p><p></p><p>Badguys turn</p><p>From cover the Dark Lady spends a Force Point to give her Damage Resistance for 1 minute (10 rounds) starting next round.</p><p>Malonnu moves 12 meters closer and uses his Shadows talent to create a glob of Total Darkness/Heavy Obscure right in front of the ledge, effectively blocking the sight of this Gand, Targo, Kacela and Jihahna to see down into the central part of the chamber (you are NOT in this area, its just in front of you hanging in the air!!). You need Darkvision to see through it, low-light is not good enough. He then takes cover behind a pillar.</p><p>Parlex has Shake it Off, so <a href="http://roll.coyotecode.net/lookup.php?rollid=150678" target="_blank">Recover from Reeling, DC 12: 1D20+4 = [8]+4 = 12</a>, makes it (half damage, round down, or a 10, whichever is higher). The stairs down are about 12 meters of movement and the first pillars are 12 meters from that. You are all about 6 meters from the stairs themselves. You need to move to at least the stairs to see around the patch of darkness.</p><p>Cal is behind one of the first pillars</p><p>Reks is 6 meters behind him</p><p>No one can see the Dark Lady, Malonnu or Gall. </p><p>Parlex and the Sith Droid are both around 10 meters from where Cal is (but neither can see him, nor can he see them. Parlex is about 12 meters from his last position (he was at the central, but now closer to where Cal is).</p><p></p><p>Heroes turn!! Remember that Jihahna's bonuses of +2 to your attack, skill and ability rolls (and to your Will defense scores)!!!
