EVERYONE The companions follow through the thick wood, opening way as carefully as one could. There are no trails truly recognizable. Nevertheless, as they move around, the noise of little creatures in agitation becomes more intense. The woods become more vigorous as the adventurers march in the direction of the keep. It would be somehow expected to find at least signs of an end to the canopies a bit before reaching the construction’s wall, but that is not the case. On the contrary, the building suddenly appears right before the group, covered in ivies and branches. The walls seem to have been molded from the floor, just as the walls of the cave. Here and there, though, large openings allow flowered branches to enter the keep. Underneath the heavy collection of flora, large signs can be seen. These seem to have been cut through the stone, and are easily recognizable as protective spells, though the complexity and precise nature of them remains a mystery for now. Looking up, it is also possible to see the lack of a roof, since a powerful tree emerges from the center of the construction. Right above it, the remnants of a half-destroyed tower house the looming blue light of a pyre, semi-visible through open windows that seem to have been sculpted out of clay. The vaguely round base of the keep presents only one main entrance. As the rest of the decrepit stone work, it’s crumbling down, and most of it has been taken by avenues of branches that enter the building. They seem to point out in the direction of the tree that surmounts the scenario. The entrance is cluttered, but it is possible to go inside with a little skill and a flexible body. Blue light flickers unnaturally from inside through the cracks of the walls. There are so many openings that it might be possible to peep inside, as well. All around, the noise of moving creatures become even more pronounced. Still, whatever lurks in the woods still makes a point in keeping a safe distance from the companions.
