Instead, Msaliti's passions turned unwholesome, and the herder was consumed by his lust for Uzuri. He wooed her falsely and lured Mfalme and Uzuri to his home. There he poisoned Mfalme and abducted Uzuri. This great evil opened Kijani to the influence of the MALIKI-BAYA, the Witch King. Paradise was lost, and the Watu fell into wars against each other as well as against the WASALITI, those who worship and serve Maliki-baya. The jungle itself turned against the Watu as well. It is mostly an unpopulated area, but it is believed that elves and faerie make their homes here. The region is said to be populated with giants and dragons. This is an idyllic land of meadows and gentle rivers and is filled with many small kingdoms.
