Description: Oda is a brute, but he is a smart brute for his species and has even learned how to use weapons to some effect and lead his brethren into battle. He is not so much crafty as he is a bully, and continually throws his allies into the fray with little concern for their safety. He does not care, he only wishes to kill, his only concern is for himself. So far since his rise to prominence as leader he has proved himself in combat against the young bushi of the Crab and now carries one of their blades into battle. He believes he is nearly invincible…

Description: Oda has continued his rise in the ranks of the Shadowlands and has come to serve directly for Daigotsu, on occasion finding the bakemono’s fury and skill quite appreciative. Oda has become infamous among the Crab and many bushi have tried to hunt the creature down, only to fall to his awakened blade, “Bloody Tooth”, awakened by Daigotsu as a gift for his service.
*from The Quintessential Fighter: It allows the character to subtract a number from their Armor Class on their action, the number subtracted may not be higher then their base attack bonus, but the bonus stacks with Power Attack if used that round. The bonus applies to all attacks that round, and last until the character’s next turn.

Description: Oda has become a warlord. Even some of the great Oni fear his power. Daigotsu further blessed the ruthless bakemono by fusing his body with the essence of a corrupted Earth kami. He is a brutal killing machine and a nearly a god among the bakemono and many other creatures that from the Shadowlands. He has crushed some of the strongest Crab warriors in single combat only to laugh at their pitiful attempts in destroying him. Oda is without fear, without mercy, he is a killing machine… and he will let no being bar his path to his goal… He maintains a decrepit fortress as his base of operations…
Cohort: Kuni Yo
aka (Shugenja 6/Maho-Tsukai 7) corrupted by his lust for knowledge he fled the lands of the Crab for the Shadowlands and was nearly killed by Oda, before he swore fealty to the brutal warlord. Oda in a moment of capriciousness spared his life, and has come to enjoy the company of the corrupted human. Yoaka has supreme tactical acumen and knowledge of Crab tactics that have only made Oda’s influence grow in the Shadowlands. There is loyalty, but Yoaka serves out of fear, for he knows the depths of cruelty in the mind of the beast that is Oda…
Tactics: Fairly simple for Oda, in his first incarnation he would be leading a small band of bakemono and would simply charge the strongest warrior and attack. He would use his Power Attack as much as he could to deal as much damage as possible.
In his second incarnation, Oda would do well supporting a spell caster, and closing in to attack putting his feats to good use. He would most likely target a spell caster if he could but would settle for chopping a bushi to pieces. Again use his Power Attack and Reckless attack to do large amounts of damage and don’t forget his sword drains levels, making him a slightly nastier foe.
In his final form, he would most likely hang back and allow throw his minions at the characters and allow Yoaka to cast spells and protect him, and aid the Crab shugenja with his magical abilities. Since he is immune to Earth Damage it would be wise to use Iron Body after he closes with the enemy and then the next round an Earthquake on of his favorite combos. Yoaka would continue to cast spells to assist Oda as he cut a swath of destruction through the heroes. Don’t forget his blade still drains levels.]
