Hey All. My apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this, but as I am new to L4W (and EnWorld for that matter), I wanted to make sure I understood the creation process, etc. As I understand it, I simply follow the Creation Guide to make a character and email the judges with the link to the character. In terms of making the character All WotC sources of at least a month old (with a few exceptions) are allowed. I can choose any PHB2 background in lieu of one of the regional backgrounds listed on the wiki, but cannot choose one from FR or Scales of War, etc. is that correct? Finally, my character can be from anywhere in the world (provided I give a reason for ending up in Daunton). I'm free to make up a locale of origin as that can be explained by the fog (hence the reason nobody knows of it). The regions listed in the wiki provide the most likely races to be from those regions, but I could have a member of any race from a given region so long as I explain it in the backstory. Is this all correct? I'm not sure the last part will be an issue but I'm just hoping to save the judges time later in case I am mistaken. Finally, I didn't see anything about naming conventions for PC's. Obviously Terms of Use applies and things like Bob the Farmer are probably not preferred, but is there any issue with puns or anything (i.e. I'm Jin and this is my sword Tonik). Again, not sure that it will be an issue anyway, but just wanted to make sure before I cost a judge more time than necessary. Thanks in advance for any help!
