I was a player until I found 2013... it spoke my language. Our group's GM agreed that I was the better person to run it and handed it over. My God we had some awesome games. We laughed till we cried and once we cried (all of us) when a major NPC was given new life after taken over by a player that never intended to be there long... he played the character so well--(a borg so far gone with Cyberpsychosis he was monosyllabic and erratic/violent) He mostly said "Buddy" in a deep baritone, very reminiscent of "I am Groot", (but 20 years ago). He often said "buddy" right before he jacked something up royally and was obsessed with one poor character, often dragging him into whatever mischief he was in the middle off. The one poor guy wanted to go into the mosh pit and dance. So the big borg followed him and started mauling people. The club goes into lockdown and the party is trapped. So someone decides to use a little explosive to breach a wall and when everyone is diving for cover the borg grabs his little buddy so they can see the pretty fireworks up close... boom. Unfortunately C-Swat had arrived and when they see the big Borg they start hitting him with 20mm smoothbores firing depleted uranium. His final act was to use his broad back to shield his buddy. The rounds were penetrating the armor on his back and were hitting the *inside* of the chest armor. He could hear the rounds hitting it and the bulges in the armor were hot. As he died he said "buddy" one last time. The poor unwitting object of the borg's affection, could hear the flesh under the hot armor sizzling and could smell it. It was a complete throw away character, but wow. It was a moment. He didn't even have a name but they called him "Buddy" or "Ludacris" because those were the two words he said.
