I'm getting the D&D DTs and really need a "fix" for me and my 15 year old son.
Looking for a table top game that:
uses 3.5 rules
Is more role-playing than dice rolling (although the appeal of 10d6 fireball is still great).
Is setting based. Prefer Birthright, Eberron, Dark Sun, Home-brewed. Hate the Realms (nothing against those long term fans - its just a personal choice)
Starts at low to mid level. I played in one game where everyone started at 17th level - way too high. I like to advance my PC so that everything he gains/has has some sort of in-character history associated with it.
