Ru looks over the bodies, and determines little more than what was immediately obvious. The women were killed by stab wounds from small blades -- daggers or short swords, most likely. The old man was killed with a single, solid blow to his torso from a crushing weapon like a club or mace, but it must have been something even larger than the mighty hammer that Tsaaruck wields. Bloody bootprints tracked through out the dairy offer further evidence of one large humanoid and at least a dozen smaller humanoids. In the soft soil of the meadow, it's not hard to follow the raiders' tracks off the northeast, where they lead further into the forest. Iago searches the dairy for clues and finds two things of note. The first is a large, blackish-grey feather that had come to rest on a fallen stack of quite large cheese wheels. The feather is definitely not from a raven or a crow, but before Iago can examine it further, he realizes that the pile of cheese wheels cover a trap door to a cellar ... and that there's quiet breathing coming from the other side. The wheels are probably 150 pounds apiece, and you'd have to shift a dozen to access the trapdoor. It's probably can't be done without alerting whoever --or whatever -- is listening. [sblock=OOC]As per posts previous to combat, Samad and Ru fanned out a bit to check the surrounding buildings while everyone else moved toward the main building. The boars in the main building aced their Perception roll, and so were alerted to your presence. The first boar charged out of the building, while you pinned the other two inside. One of those was the big thing that Mazi saw. As there are no other major threats (at the moment), I skipped past the part where you searched around for imminent danger. K:Local to further identify bootprints. K:Nature for the feather. If you attempt to communicate with whatever is in the cellar, social skill rolls would help. Also, I need a Perception roll from Samad (and only Samad), because of a thing.[/sblock]
