The group fans out in the room under the watchful eye of Tsaaruk. For the most part, the only thing people can hear is each other as the investigation of the room begins. The air seems heavy, but it is most assuredly very still. The most air movement Samad can detect is coming from the passageway out, and even then, it is a very subtle draft. The still air, however, provides Jonas with a little bit of information. After careful consideration, he suspects there are footsteps in and around the three of the four ground level exits (C, D, E). However, the signs are subtle and he has no idea how old they are. Thanks to the still air, they could be years old. However, the group's activity is starting to cause the dust to be kicked up, and when it resettles the tracks will be that much more difficult to detect. He does, as a side-effect of his investigation, note the dust around the two south-east passageways (E, G) is thicker than the rest of the room. For his part, Thad is snaking his way around the room, tongue sensing the air. After a general investigation, he returns to his master to inform him there seems to be some vermin about, but not many. He can smell them. As for the room itself, though, the immediate vicinity seems rather uninteresting. Outside of the level 2 latticework and the exits from the room, there isn't much here. Far'zeil continues her investigation of the exits. Although she finds the boarding up of the window to make the portal seem rather impenetrable, she does discover the the way the southernmost two exits run. She returns to inform Pirvinia of her findings. Meanwhile, Samad picks an exit (E) and leaves the room, sneaking further downward into the haven, trying to keep himself concealed. He is almost down the stairs (and approaching the four-way intersection) when he thinks he may have heard something beyond. It was so faint he almost missed it, but it may be muttering.... [sblock=Far'zeil and Pirvinia]Exit F, Upper level, no stairs, turns left shortly after leaving the room. Exit G, Upper level, stairs run gently upward, changing elevation very little as the passage runs straight away from the room. Window: Heavily boarded up[/sblock]
