Sounds like Mordik is essentially taking 20 on his open locks. Eventually, he is successful. Upon picking the lock, Mordik is somewhat surprised to feel the door jerk open. Evidently it was flexed, so once the lock was released, it opened inwards. A startling sight meets the eyes of the party. This room is ornately carved from the rock. It is 130 feet long, 100 feet wide, and 30 feet tall. There are two rows of pillars crossing the room longwise. In the large space inbetween the pillars is occupied by a large reptillian creature with a heavy shell and a tail that looks like a giant mace. At the far end of the room is a throne. Sitting there is a unnaturally tall humanoid creature, looking like a cross between a gnoll and a goblin. It has glowing amber eyes, a hyaena-like snout, brimming with sharp crocked teeth, tall ears, and long claws. It is dressed in a dirty loincloth, but has numerous heavy gold jewled chains resting around its neck. In its right hand is an enormous heavy pick, not dissimilar to the one Tenebrynn carries. Knowledge(religion) DC 10:[sblock] This creature matches the descriptions given of the evil goblinoid diety Kazikazi[/sblock] One the creature's left is a huge gnoll, heavily armored and weilding a halbert. On the right of the throne is a tall, skelletal hobgoblin, holding a blood-red greatsword. As the door flings open, the huge reptile roars and charges.
