Manuscript solicitation

First Post
Due to some problems with Morrigan Press, I now have a completed manuscript for an RPG set in feudal Japan sitting on my computer with no publisher. It can easily be revised to be compatible with D20 (it was originally written for the Omni System) and is a fully-fleshed supplement of around 160 pages. I have no real desire to self-publish at this point in my writing career, so I was wondering if anyone here could give me some kind of idea where to start in my quest to solicit a publisher for my book.

Any help at all would be welcome.

Thanks,
Jeremy Puckett

You may want to try talking to:

Reality Blurrs: They have a Japanese setting for the Savage Worlds system called "Iron Dynasty"
Contact info: http://realityblurs.com/contact.html/

Amalara: They have a Japanese setting for the True20 system called "Land of the Crane"
Contact Info: http://www.amalara.com/contact.aspx

Highmoon Media Productions: They do a lot of historical fantasy type stuff. I'm not sure if they would be interested in an oriental setting, but you never know until you ask.
Contact Info: http://www.dmperez.com/highmoon/contact.html

In all three cases, just tell em that Matt Kaiser refered you to them, tell em what your situation is, what you can offer them, and ask if they are interested.

Hello Jeremy!

I'm Sean Preston of Reality Blurs. Matthew advised me of your quest.

Feel free to contact me at sean@realityblurs.com. I'd be interested to see if your materials could be integrated into the Iron Dynasty setting we're developing for the Savage Worlds system.

Best Regards,

Sean Preston

Wow. I'd like to thank everyone for their kindness on this matter. I was really worried at first that I wouldn't be able to find a publisher for my work, and this takes a real burden off my shoulders. Currently, I'm working with Highmoon Media Studios to get Ronin out (I've worked with Daniel before), but I'd still like to express my gratitude to everyone else who responded. I have a lot of other ideas that I want to get out there, and I might well contact some of you about them in the near future.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Puckett
