Walking through the slum of Shieldtown you can tell that there is no money here either, bloody peasants. Once you reach the Greenhills though, that sounds like a better prospect. You feel a strange warmth in your pocket and a pressing against your skin, reaching in to check on your strange golden coin, your hand fails to find it. Within your pouch your fingers run over what seems to be a cold, iron, key...[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>Ru:</p><p>[sblock]Shieldtown is a slum, plain and simple. Where there is poverty and decay, the criminal underworld thrives. Ru knows that people in his line of business probably shouldn't trespass on another's turf without proper introductions or warnings, making him a little nervous. His eyes search the crowds in the streets, stare down back-alleys, scan the windows for enemies. There is a flicker in the shadows, just there, and another down that alley. Someone is following him...dwarves...[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>Taran:</p><p>[sblock]During you walk through Shieldtown Stephanie wanders through the group, not saying a word but seeing in generally better spirits. So far you efforts to save this one little girl has taken you places that perhaps you would never see. Stephanie wanders up to Twitchy and pats him, making funny faces at his less-than-adorable features and eventually trying to ride him a couple of times, falling all of them, before laughing, giving up, and walking beside him. Your pocket grows warmer for a moment watching her, and you hand drops into the pouch where your special gold coin rests. On side the picture of the city of Metropolis is unchanged, but now the otherside contains the visage of a beautiful middle-aged woman wearing a crown. For a moment Taran stares at the picture, then looks down at Stephanie...wasn't there a resemblance there, just a little bit?[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>Ghost:</p><p>[sblock]The buildings of Shieldtown contain a powerful list of who's who from Ancient Metropolis. Few people come down this way to study though due to the rumours of a civilization of undeath that dwells within. While Ghost's eyes drift across the names, places, and eventualities of death that the buildings display, a nagging sensation plays at him. Has he been here before? So much of this place seems to lurk in the back of Ghost's mind, like a memory from childhood changed so many times by the subconscious over the years.[/sblock]</p></blockquote><p></p>
