[QUOTE="megamania, post: 6809058, member: 9255"] THE MORGRAVE ADVENTURES “04 THE STOLEN” SEGMENT 33 “UNDERGROUND CONTACTS” 01/23/16 SYPHEROS 25, 1000 STAIRWAY #34- UNDERSHARN The stairs begin as mildly lit stairs of decent quality but as they go deeper, there are either missing or damaged lights and the stonework becomes shoddy. Finally at the bottom of Stairway #34, they reach an exit onto a wide stone street. The rocks that make up the street are smooth but debris covered from thousands of years of use. Looking about, there are several doorways and one lone merchant set up. The human middle-aged man watches them carefully. Kar-Draith goes directly to the vender and demands to know everything about a “Tarkanan”. “Who? I don’t know of a Tarkanan. Is he a vender or a buyer?” Diana sizes him up quickly. He knows more than he is saying. “We are searching for a stolen book. We believe Tarkanan has paid for it or at least arranged to steal the book. “Any help you can give us would be appreciated.” Offers the halfling artificer. “Who was it stolen from?” asks the man now a bit uncertain and nervous. “The University. They want it back.” “Damn you Fellize…. I told him to stay away from Tarkanan.” He mumbles in anger. “Who is Fellize?” asks the Goliath. “My son. I warned him not to run around with that gang. Tarkanan is not a person but a group…. A group of thieves. “We want to help, perhaps we can get your son to leave them. Where may we find him?” asks the halfling with care and compassion. “Next ward over- the goblin market that is there. He often can be seen there.” The leave the troubled father alone and go to find Fellize and the thieves guild. Within five minutes they find the goblin market. Kar-Draith excuses himself as Diana does “Goliath Watch” and stays with Hardfist. He is behaving very well for being who he is. The black and purple garbed man doesn’t look or watch but doesn’t move away either. Being near a well, it is uncertain if he is listening in or checking out the purity of the water. “Godash not sell illegal stuff Watchsnoop. Go away.” Snarls the goblin. He stares at the goblin trying to determine if he is hiding the illegal stuff or truly legal. He moves to the next booth. Having heard the conversation the goblin merely says “next booth”. Hissing in frustration, the lizardfolk archer does so. Looking at the young green and white stripped goblin he asks again “Death Adder?” “Costly it is. Illegal also.
