"Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters" - Netflix YA Series

Some folks might find this interesting., I know that I did. The series is based on a novel series from SE Asia and is set in Malaysia. It incorporates mythological creatures from various Asian cultures; China, Japan, Malaysia, perhaps Philippines. The conceit is that it's about a group of teens who start to investigate various supernatural occurrences around their town and vlogging about them as a character named Mr. Midnight, to try and hide their ages and lend more credibility. It's interesting as sort of a cultural touchstone to something other than the West. Not sure of the country of production but it has a feeling similar to other shows I've seen come out of New Zealand like "The Bureau of Magical Things", though it skews to a somewhat older audience.

If not for folks here, then maybe their kids?

I've been watching this, it's quite entertaining. It falls directly between Scooby Doo and Buffy.
