Law opens the door marked STORAGE while Agnasci heads to the men's bathroom. The storage room is mostly empty: There's a stack of dust-covered folding chairs in one corner and a few torn apart and disintegrating cardboard boxes in another. There are more beer bottles scattered about under a broken window. There's a door leading outside, left open. Rain is pattering against the ground outside. Agnasci uses his cellphone as a meager flashlight while checking the bathroom. There are three stalls, a sink, and a shattered mirror. Agnasci pushes open the first stall but thinks better of a closer investigation when he sees what looks like black tar in the toilet. He wrinkles his nose and heads back across the hall toward the women's bathroom, which is in the same shape as the men's. Law goes into the office next. There's a broken office chair here but the desk is gone. A filing cabinet has been tipped onto its side and there are dusty papers everywhere: Everything from financial documents to planned sermons to personal mail, all over the floor. Law's light stops on the crushed glass of a framed degree - a B.A. in religious studies from NAU for someone named Milton Young, presumably the dead preacher. A wooden crucifix hangs undisturbed on the far wall. Last are the classrooms. The room to the entrance's right has been completely emptied and only bottles, cans, and cigarette butts remain. There's a shuttered window that would open to the front of the church. The other classroom has another shuttered window, the second eye of the church's dark face, and a pile of collapsible tables and folding chairs at its center. There are boxes lining two of the walls - a quick check reveals old art supplies in one. A dusty banner of construction paper hand-turkeys still hangs across the ceiling in here. There doesn't seem to be anything else. As Law reappears in the hall Agnasci is walking outside into the rain on his way back to the truck.
