This core rulebook is updated for GURPS Fourth Edition rules and combines material previously published as two books under previous editions to act as a single complete game ready to play in one 410-page book. Not only does this include all the rules needed for GURPS, but it includes everything you need to create pretty much any character you can think of at any power level on the Disc, so you can play as an everyday ordinary member of the City Watch or all the way up to a fairy godmother. Originally released in 1998 as GURPS Discworld co-written by Sir Terry Pratchett himself, this new edition has been updated by Phil Masters to include setting information from the Discworld books published afterward. The PDF and print-on-demand softcover are available from DriveThruRPG, and a print-on-demand softcover is available from Amazon.

ACD Distribution lost their appeal in their lawsuit against Wizards of the Coast. ACD filed the lawsuit in 2018 after Wizards of the Coast announced it was cancelling its distribution agreement with the company during a streamlining of their distribution channels for Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons products. The distributor argued that the termination of the deal would adversely and unfairly affect ACD’s revenue under Wisconsin’s Fair Dealership Law. The case was decided in June 2020 in Wizards of the Coast’s favor after getting the venue changed to a Washington federal court. The appeals court ruled against ACD in a 2-1 decision, ruling that Washington state laws should apply to the distribution agreement and not Wisconsin’s and that ACD is responsible for legal fees totaling over $373,000 ($255,000 for the original trial and an additional $118,000 for the appeal). Wizards of the Coast was allowed to terminate the distribution deal in August 2020 in the original court decision.
