"Well then we's be makin the time up on the morrow, if'n we know it is safe to travel the roads." the halfling says happily. "Turn down that game trail up aheads." Heron says and then proceeds to guide Aidan back along alot of unused trails and paths till finally reaching the wayward inn he was looking for. The building is a one-story squat little place that has seen better days. A few children play out front with a lean dog, and an old woman sits on a chair up on the porch. Catching Aidan's eye almost immediately is a fighting circle posted and roped off on the east side of the building. "This be a place for farmers bring crops to places and don't wish to go home right aways." Heron says noticing Aidan looking at the roped of ring. "Aye, and maybes make a few coin betting on a fight as well." The children stop their playing to run to the front door, "Ma!, Pa!" a little boy yells from the doorway. "Looks like travelers!" As Aidan pulls up the horse in front of the building he watches as a burly man with a board black beard and boarder shoulders and paunch comes out wearing the typical white apron of a tavern keeper. He looks over the young man and the horse, then sees Heron poking his head from around the boys back. "Well now what are you looking for?" he asks crossing his arms. "Just a place to spend this one night." Heron says "We can pay in gold my goodman." The board man nods at that and then shoves a thumb over his shoulder, "There's a stall around back and you are responsible for cleaning it out before you leave." He then turns and ushers the children, who were watching from behind his legs, into the building. Taking the horse around back Aidan and Heron find three open-topped horse stalls, two with a horse already in them. So Aidan dismounts and walks his horse into the only empty stall. Also around back is a large still and another old woman sitting in a chair nearby. She is eithe related to the woman around front or... no that little old lady couldn't have moved that fast. [sblock=OOC] Go ahead and put the horse away. LOL and maybe a name for it? But don't enter the tavern just post walking to the door and I will post you in and give you a descrption. Thanks.
