[QUOTE="The Joker, post: 7079596, member: 6674973"] Welcome, traveler, to the world of Seraphim! Well… what’s left of it, anyways… You seem new here so I’m going to give you a quick breakdown on what’s happened here and why things are the way they are. Take a seat and grab some chow! This is going to be a long story… This is a world ravaged and still recovering form a war that left it buried in the sands of history. But ill get to why. Lest me start at the beginning. At least… the beginning of time as anyone now a days cares to know. Almost 2000 years ago, during what was called by most as “the golden age”, our draconic overlords who protected us… “Mortals” known as humans, elves, dwarves, and gnomes from both ourselves and the dark forces outside their glorious kingdom, left us wholly to our own devices and gave us permission to pursue whatever we wanted as long as we didn’t circumvent their authority… ...This was there biggest mistake… Of course, we perused things like Exploration and while mapping out the lands we where originality forbidden from seeing we met and made connections with races like the catfolk, the Tengu and many others. Soon after we found the edges of our Draconic Lords lands we focused inwards. Art, culture, and Education… you know. Boring stuff. However most call it inevitable that we moved towards attempting to master the mysterious force known to most as magic that our masters and there half bloods known as sorcerers welded. As we prodded at learning the mysteries to… “The Art” as they started calling it, many cities cropped up across there kingdom. Our Draconic masters grew suspicious at our meddling and after first threatening to crush our cities and kill our families, they simply and mysteriously disappeared. At this time, we split up the Dragons kingdom into several kingdoms ruled over by our most powerful and wise. Our first wizard kings and their Sorcerer Lord allies. No one is sure where they came from exactly but many hypothesised that they came from deep beneath the earth. Like a great Black tide they rushed in causing great devastation. We don’t know how much was destroyed and what was crafted at this dark time, but it is known that despite the dragons abandoning us to our fate for our hubris we had survived The Forgotten.
