This does not include last Wednesday's session, which basically was just travel to Castle Korstull and first contact with the Dark Pyre warriors. Yeah, my players have a tendency to just stumble from one thing to next without trying to make many connections and/or search hard for information. They finally decided it was time to get out of the dark, hence Van's casting of the Loremaster's Bargain ritual. The visit from the Flamebringer Dragon was entirely improvised, as I was expecting the warlock to try to summon a devil to chat with. Of course that didn't work out. Anyway, the party finally has gotten a great deal of the information they needed to get a sense of what's going on and where they are ultimately going to end up. No combat for an entire session, but one of the most fun sessions in a while (for me).
