Might’ve been creepier if it weren’t for that time I ate that bad batch of brownies… Every time we blinked into the real world, the places we passed through all had these patches of scorched earth and some places looked like they’d had the life sucked out of them. Finally we came out in the small village of Gathin – burnt and sucked dry like everyplace else, though they still had some livestock walking around. Following the sounds of raised voices we found a dozen Ragesian soldiers harassing the villagers, but when the commander cut one of them down, we rushed in. They had a couple of tricks – a sword that shot fire and a lance that blinked out of sight, but we did for the commander and his men until the last one finally surrendered. [QUOTE="Ormazd, post: 5888026, member: 24334"] e could’ve made it to Castle Korstull in a couple of days by horseback, but van wanted to take us through the shadow world – a little weird, but VERY cool. Might’ve been creepier if it weren’t for that time I ate that bad batch of brownies… Every time we blinked into the real world, the places we passed through all had these patches of scorched earth and some places looked like they’d had the life sucked out of them.
