[hq] Tales from the Loop is about solving mysteries in small towns or communities. The two official settings for the game, included in the core rulebook, are the Mälaren Islands in Sweden and Boulder City in Nevada, USA. The reason why we chose these two are simple: Simon Stålenhag’s art depicts these two settings. He grew up on the Mälaren Islands outside of Stockholm and his paintings from there reflect his childhood and his memories. But Tales from the Loop is your game now, so why not make it about your hometown and your memories? This is what this chapter is all about.
