Then an arrow strikes him, staggering him back a moment while he watches the blood pour from her wounds. <span style="color: #00FFFF">No! Shouldn't have let her face her alone!</span>. Even though she was a bandit, a criminal, she was working to redeem herself. She wasn't a prisoner, she was one of them. The sight of a fallen companion fills him with hot anger that even the cold rushing stream couldn't touch. He steps forward in the stream and calls out his challenge loudly, <span style="color: #00FFFF">"You'll answer to me for that! Face me!"</span></p><p>He swings his longsword up high overhead and brings it down hard with as much strength as he can muster! The blow is true and strong and brings the bandit leader to her knees. She stares up into Liam's eyes with a sneer of hatred before toppling into the stream her blood staining the water crimson. </p><p></p><p>The other bandits seem stupefied for a moment at the sudden death of their leader. One by one they begin to recover and fire their bows lest they join Kressle in death. Only one manages a sound shot taking Rhote with a shaft (<a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4193466/" target="_blank">damage (1d8=7)</a>). </p><p></p><p>OOC: <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4193461/" target="_blank">long bow attacks (1d20+2=3, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=14)</a></p></blockquote><p></p>
