Kyria tries to find the Shaman, closing her eyes and concentrating on hearing...listening for that shuffling footstep. The drag of those robes over the dirt... Then she opens her eyes and takes a shot at the spot she thinks she hears it! Her shot flies true. The Prince points to the northeast corner where he sees the blood and calls out to his companions, "There! I see blood!". He holds his position though, knowing that it is the best place to intercept the fleeing creature. Growing impatient, Prince Liam moves into attack where he last saw the shaman. He leaves the tunnel unguarded as he swings wildly through the air. Unfortunately his wild swings fail to connect with anything substantial. Brondelleon hols his position and draws his Bow and an arrow. Though the arrow would have struck true, apparently the shaman has moved just slightly. He then moves to fill the space where the prince had stood as a block to exit. Rhote grabs some dust or dirt from the floor and casually tosses it into the nearby air in the general direction the creature was last seen. Pixie's expression seems to say that she does not know whether to frown because she missed or to smile because the chase is on. With her rush comes a moment of perceptual clarity though as she casts about for where the shaman may be hiding. The pattern of the falling dust and her "fairy" senses tingling, Pixie takes a step in the right direction and expertly slices and dices the shadows. Again her swing finds only air, but there is only so much open space left where her now long arms haven't reached that the Shaman could be and the next blow results in a most satisfy feeling in her wrist as the axe bites deep into the face of the shaman. He appears now on his knees only Pixie's grip on the axe lodged between his eyes keeping him from falling the rest of the way. Her enlarged form towers over the corpse. The terrified Kobolds in the room gasp in shock at the sight. The chieftain exclaims in his own language thumping the haft of his club on the stone floor for emphasis. he strides forward and reaches up to clap Pixie on the back. [sblock=Draconic speakers only]"This female has freed us from the tyranny of the evil Shaman! Let her ever after be known as Skull Splitter, hero of the tribe! We will have a feast in honor of these good folk who have come to our aid in time of need and speak of an alliance. The shaman's goods are your by rights"[/sblock] He ends brief speech with a sweeping gesture of his club at the items in the room. The Kobolds hoot and stamp their feet in excitement.
