Absolutely Agreeed Right on...Crothian! This can be super fun or really tense depending on the maturity levels at the table. I loved the game I played in where me (1/2 Orc F/Rgr/W/Spell Sword - CN...lol - low wis + chaotic alignment = lack of focus in the class department) and the Dwarf Paladin had a great little bit of tension going. We role played it out and after a few life savings and major contributions later we came to an understanding and mutual respect. He stopped telling me what to do so often and I tried to not go overboard on the CN thing. However, it could have just as easy gone south fast. We are in our late 30's early 40's though so its all in good fun. We had already talked about it in our character journals and were ready for the confrontation. I would have lost of course becasue of my lack of focus, which made me weak. It would have been fun though. I hate paladins anyways as a player and I don't really do good either casue its like some actors (Keanu, Buffy, whatever her name is, etc.) ya know - I find it hard to stray too far from my real personality. Can't do the code thing. Now to cover my but on the late 30's early 40's comment...I have met a good number of teens with their heads on tight and some 30 somethings in la la land though. There was this 14 year old kid I gamed with last year who had to have a 20 WIS score for sure - way wise beyond the years and way more mature than I am - lol. Thanks, DerHauptman - Out!
