GMC - It's Game Master's Choice! Come to the world, where mortals created and became gods, where the Long Night powers orcs and undead and where ruins of a glorious past let deities fear for their existence. A world of enigmatic NPCs: from the Ancients, over the mythical Sirison and the Guardian of Simit to a being of unknown age and power, the Quirin. Let the characters become a part of your own Quirin Saga. Look out for the independent "Quirin Adventure" series. Every scenario can be placed in your campaign world. Feel free to adapt the material presented here as you see fit to make it work with your campaign. The Secrets of Maevis is an adventure site for four characters of about 2nd level. The heroes become involved in a burglary of a shop and the murder of its shopkeeper. During their investigation, they may discover the remains of a forgotten temple of darkness and death, the plans of an evil organization called the Moonwalkers, and the dangerous secrets of a former hero named Maevis. The characters could face an artistic militia captain, a frightened witness, the Hats and its "immortal" leader, a darling of Clearwood, a forgotten undead family, the hazards of the Great Well, a "twin" of a PC, and an energy drained, deadly enemy. Additional Features:

Scalable for one to eight PCs of 1st to 10th level
A thieves' guild ready for use
A new special item: the moonrod
Six new magic items such as the ring of virtue or Shade
A partial color town map and a black&white player handout
A color shop map and a black&white player handout
A color temple map and a black&white player handout
A color well map and a black&white player handout
A black&white monster portrait
A color NPC portrait and four black&white NPC portraits
Two black&white scenes
Created by: Christian Janke Encounters: 14 (EL ranging from 1/3 to 9) Time for Fun and More! The Secrets of Maevis serves as a sequel to First Challenge, the Quirin Adventure #2, although you need not have played First Challenge to use this one.
