RAYGUNS & ROBUTS is an all-new, high-quality FULL-COLOR zine from Planet X Games that focuses on retro science fiction roleplaying in a galaxy menaced by killer ROBUTS (yes, ROBUTS - it's just more fun to say it that way!), slimy, green space aliens and a rogue's gallery of super-scientists and evil geniuses! Every page has the heart and feel of the old school atomic sci-fi movies, serials and stories that we grew up loving so much and the rules are light enough that it can easily be adapted to any OSR or rules-light RPG setting. If you've ever played the first edition of the world's most popular RPG or any of its retro-clones, the rules in RAYGUNS & ROBUTS will be very familiar to you.
As this project launches, RAYGUNS & ROBUTS is a cover-to-cover 48-page, saddle-stitched, 5.5-inch by 8.5-inch B&W printed zine with a full-color cover by Planet X favorite Ed Bickford. The cover stock is heavy, the pages are glossy and the book is rendered in full-color retro coolness. This booklet is filled to the brim with page after page of classic sci-fi resources for science fiction and space-setting games. RAYGUNS & ROBUTS is meant to be a quick and easy resource that you can pull ideas and plot hooks from for use directly at your gaming table. There’s NO FLUFF in here and nothing padding out the page count - just pure old school goodness created exclusively for the RPG community.
