The Realms of Adventure (RoA) community at RPOL.net is looking for motivated players and DM's for ongoing play-by-post campaigns in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. RoA uses the Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 core rules and a generous amount of material from the Wizards of the Coast supplements. Knowledge of the Forgotten Realms setting is helpful, but not a prerequisite. And all games hosted by RPOL.net are completely free of charge (registration required). Players in RoA are in for a play-by-post experience of exceptional quality. Experienced DM's guide you through the character creation process. You choose the part of Faerun where you want to play (based on game openings). Upon completion of an adventure, your character can travel to other parts of the world. You build your character with 3,000 XP, so it's possible to start right out of the gate casting second level spells, inspiring confidence, or taking a trackless step. And for those of you who've ever been in an online campaign that has fizzled: if for some reason your DM is unable to post or continue, another RoA DM will pick up where you left off. No starting over! DM's in RoA enjoy a wide variety of support. We have our own resident rules guru to help you sort out difficult situations. You have access to an active RoA DM's forum here on RPOL to help out when you need it. The RoA leadership has the corporate knowledge of over a year of gaming here on RPOL to share with you. We even check and approve character sheets for you. You'll find RoA players have a very low player drop-out rate. And all characters start out at third level, so you can flex your DM muscles early in the campaign. Regions currently in need of DM's include the Silver Marches, Dragon Coast, and Rashemen. RoA is Forgotten Realms done right. If you'd like to be part of the magic, come see what we're about in the RoA: OOC forum located in the Fantasy games section at RPOL.net.
