This gnome also owned a shop. The bird awakened, and immediately started acting as if it were alive. Unfortunately, Liat couldn't get it to leave, and as the bird hung around the ship that morning, amazing the crew, it eventually caught a glimpse of the captain's real toucan. It didn't take a long observation from the metal bird to finally understand the nature of what it was.
