Durgo and the Boys As the goblin Engineers prepare harnesses and the other troops sharpen blades and check their arrows, Wekerak rides up, along with two Hobgoblin Calvary. OoC:Wekerak has 10 mins or so before the others arrive. Wekerak Riding along, musuing over the events that have plagued your band (not to mention it's most important member, you, your attention is drawn skywards, where you see a pair or large winged shapes...Dire Bats. Whether being ridden or alone is unsure. What is sure is that they wheeled overhead at a distance of a hundred feet or so and then sped off North-East. OoC:You can pop off a shot, if you like, or not. Perhaps not letting them know that you have noticed them is a better idead, or? As far as you know, Zuregath does not make extensive use of Dire Bat Calvary. Vespazian After several minutes of brooding, with rat chittering worridly in your ear, you round a large hill of slag to see a dozen orcs sharpening axes and swords. Seeing you, they at first prepare for confrontation, until they see your Captain's Skulls. At that, they stand and give a salute, keeping their eyes on your skulls, rather than your face, as is custom. Beyond the Orcs, you can see Ogres, Two Fire Giants and many more Orcs, goblins and gnolls (a Troll as well), all looking as if they are preparing for an assault on the Castle. Bargo lumbers by, grinning at you, and the voice of Durgo can be heard not too far off. Tsu'Koka and the rear Guard Moving along, Hobgoblins and Giant,Mephits and Gnolls, silence reigns in the group. Thingshad been said, and, indeed, put into motion. It would seem that any power struggle was, at least for now, quashed. Time would tell, however, as the Reurn of Zuregath would change everything in all of your lives. You enter a makeshift staging area, where you see perhaps a hundred and fifty troops of various types, Ogres, Giants, Orcs and Hobgoblins. There are many Gargoyles, roosting on boulders (or were those the boulders themselves?), as well as a few odd types, a huge Manticore chained to a Rock, a troll wearing ad-hoc armor and carring a massive Hammer, a pack of Hell Hounds...
