We've only seen the quickstart, and there are supposed to be a couple of extra rules in the book, but it should be something like this anyway. The game tries to simulate "stereotypical" action movies. In the beginning the stakes are not high, characters usually don't die, but later, at the end of the movie things get dangerous, and characters can die. They achieve this with the Death Roulette. You have something called Grit, it's a bit similar to HP, if you reach 12 you'd die (or not). It resets between scenes, or at least after the Shot (episode). Now, once that happens (you don't have any more Grit), you have to roll the death roulette. It's a d6, and if it was the first time, nothing happens, you mark number 1 on your character sheet. If it happens again, and you roll a number that was already marked (in this case 1) you really die. I might have not explained it in the best way, I hope it's understandable. By the way, I'm quite stoked about the game, especially with the unlocked stretch goals it will be great. There are thing called Action Flicks, basically hacks to be able to play different kinds of movies (wuxia, science fiction, street level superheroes, etc). There will also be official one on one (one GM, one player with one character) rules. What I especially like, that it comes with a complete adventure campaign.
