4 out of 5 rating for Scales of War Adventure Path I ran this entire path from start to finish, and it was awesome. It held many of the best 4e adventures including Siege of Bordrin's Watch, Haven of the Bitter Glass, Tyranny of Souls, and my favorite, Legacy of Io. There were so many awesome moments, from doing battle with the githyanki flying in the astral sea to defending a city under siege to raiding Tiamat's actual lair. That final adventure, Last Breath of the Dragon Queen, is a fantastic dungeon crawl that really feels epic. All that said, the path is not perfect. There are the 4e monster math problems from beginning to end (though this is very easily fixed). A few of the adventures drag and the entire path does not feel focused or connected, especially in the heroic tier (which sadly probably means most groups abandoned it before it got good). But it is brimming over with fun ideas and is most certainly worth reading, even if just to steal some of the ridiculously great Mike Schley maps from.
