Final 4 candidates I've been progressing slowly, and batting stuff around long enough, so I have forced myself to put up my top 4 choices. Any opinions would be helpful. In no particular order: 1. Ekaterina Kossevitch: Vryloka Warlord (bravura); exiled noble from (not-Romania), forced to leave home after a struggle between two noble families turned into civil war. Close-up melee leader (off-striker with charging), little control or ranged ability except Direct the strike to provide other people with RBAs. 2. Rhiannon nic Aiffe: Eladrin Bard (cunning); an emissary from the fey courts of Avalon- she had visited many years ago when the Hounds were better-regarded, and now that she has returned to Franzia she has restored her old ties to the group despite their decreased prestige. Ranged leader and strong skill base- weak in melee, and perhaps a bit too close to Mowgli's character if he comes back... 3. Genevieve de Chantellessie: Human Wizard (mage- enchanter/illusionist), MC Shaman; born into a noble family but lost her parents and their estate during a border skirmish with (not-Germany), raised in a convent of Ioun. Did not take vows, and left the order to seek further arcane training- which brought her to the capitol, where the best teachers are. When she was in need of money to further her studies, an old friend of her family provided a recommendation for her to join the Hounds, since the group had few dedicated arcane specialists. Weak in melee, and the least capable healer of the top 4 (only one encounter heal, and trained Heal skill). Strong control, both single and multitarget. 4. Sebastien deLaureville: Human hybrid Artificer/Wizard, MC Bard; third son of a minor noble family, he became a scholar and explorer of note. Despite his age (well past fifty), he is active and vigorous, and has quite a way with the ladies. Recently made an enemy of someone in the Archmandress' circle, and has joined the Hounds for a bit of protection. Kind of a compromise candidate- fairly weak healing (encounter +daily), not totally helpless in melee, reasonable ranged control
