Initiaitve Order: Tau 25 Soulfetter 19 Alarion 11 Raul 6 Brae 6 OOC: [sblock=Raul and Tau]The smell of death assaults your nostrils as you move deeper into the alley. The metallic smell of fresh blood mingles with older scents of rotting flesh and decay in a most unpleasant olfactory cocktail. Behind the boxes tucked into the small space there it appears that someone has made a nest of sorts against the cold with old blankets, furs and straw. It seems to be empty now. There is just enough space between the boxes for someone small to squeeze in or out. At the edge of your light movement catches your eye. There are figures standing over what appears to be a body on the ground. Two man sized humanoid shapes, a shorter humanoid and a low form that might be a dog. There seems to be other figures moving further back in the alley, but the shadows and a light snowfall make it difficult to be sure. Wet smacking sounds can be heard and it seems the figures have taken notice of you now. They appear to be starting to move toward you.[/sblock] The constables still near the entrance of the alley can see Raul and Tau clearly in the cool blue magical light coming from Tau's gloves. They are looking behind the boxes and then further down the alley at something. Beyond them perhaps 40 feet you can just make out some shadowy figures though the lightly falling snow just at the edge of the light. There is nothing of obvious interest in the trash barrels though Alarion suspects someone has rummaged through the contents. OOC: Actions for all?
