Or, in worst case, leave it where it was while we make our escape. If it returns to its master or confronts us again then we get that second chance to rid this world of it. There is no reason for us to kill a defenseless being. It's called mercy. </p><p></p><p>The way I see it, I doubt you would expect mercy from a demon. So as a moral counter to that I will give mercy when I can. Certainly you see the good in such a decision.
