I finally got around to watching the Fall Finale episode (on tape), which ended with a cliffhanger. Now I can't wait until January 22, 2007 for the continuation. First off, I'm still sad that Charlene, aka "Charlie" died. She's such a sweet girl and would make Hiro a very happy man. We also learn that Hiro's power has limit, as he tries many time to save her. (I know this from the previous episode, but I have to say it.) The episode opened at the Bennett's home, after an [off-scene] long ride and conversation. HRG comforted his Claire, then told her to find other tapes exhibiting her powers. He also asked if anyone else knew. That would be her friend Zach and her little brother Lyle. The next scene is a crime scene that took place near Claire's high school where Sylar disappeared. Of course, we know that in the previous episode, is where Eden and the Haitian abducted Sylar. But to Matt Parkman (aka Psi-Cop) and his partner, the trail ended cold for them. So they decided to interrogate their only suspect, Peter Petrelli (aka Copycat or The Mimic). *Short Opening Theme* After the commercial break, a different story scene opened up with "Jessica" Saunder (aka the Bad Gemini or Ms. Hyde) sniping at DL (aka Phasing Man) with a lucky shot near the shoulder. Lucky for DL, he managed to phase himself and let her second bullet go right through his head without harm. He and their son, Micah (aka Hi-Tech Electro) then escaped into the woods nearby. We then went back to the HRG lair, where they kept Sylar in custody. Eden (aka Siren) wants to "command" Sylar to end his life ... whoa. But HRG wants to study him, or rather his mysterious superior. Meanwhile back in the woods... "Jessica" continues to chase after DL and Micah. They found a cabin in the woods, but as Micah tries to nurse his dad's wound, DL collapsed. Back at the local police station, Peter and Matt met for the first time, and during the interrogation, Peter found out Matt's a mind-reader. After Matt got one sentence from Peter's mind ... "Save the Cheerleader" ... Peter told them to protect Claire. After the second commercial break, we finally saw Mohinder back in Brooklyn, NY, and trying to warn the FBI of potential targets that Sylar may go after, the targets that are on his father's list. Back at HRG's lair, Eden set Isaac Mendez (aka Oracle Crackhead) free without HRG's knowledge or authorization, apparently. Isaac then contacted Hiro Nakamura (aka Temporal Ninja) -- still in Texas -- to set up a meeting. Matt's partner interviewed Claire with HRG present, where he experienced a psychic form of "static intereference," and this is not the first time. Not surprised that he does not instantly recognized HRG, but then again, he did have his memory erased on their first encounter, courtesy of *echo on* The Haitian. *echo off* After the third commercial break, Claire got to talk to Peter. Yeah, I saw that schoolgirl crush look on her and that "You're totally my hero." ;) We also noticed that after shaking hands with HRG, Peter started having coughing fits. Meanwhile back in the woods ... DL and Micah set a trap for "Jessica," but after she hurt Micah in the melee, Nicole (aka the Good Gemini or Ms. Jekyll) finally took control of her body. Back at Claire's school, she retrieved the tapes from her only best friend Zach and destroyed them. She also got him to promise to keep her secret secret. Back in Texas, Isaac got off a Greyhound-looking bus and meet Hiro face-to-face. Hiro then produced Isaac's comic book from the future as proof of his power. He also told Isaac what happened in the future, including Isaac's grim fate. Isaac then told Hiro that the killer is now caught. Having noticed the picture of Charlie, he realized he can paint the future without drugs. Actually, he sketched it. After the fourth commercial break, Claire got home and talked to Lyle, who have no idea what she's talking about. Lyle did not remember finding out Claire's secret. This worries her. Meanwhile back near the edge of the woods ... Nikki abandoned DL and Micah and surrenders herself to a local cop. Outside the paper mill building that served as a front for HRG's lair, Matt and his partner are on stakeout, where he spotted HRG and the Haitian. He then tries to read their mind and as a result he got a nosebleed and one word: Sylar. Claire later found out her best friend Zach also have his mind erased. After the fifth commercial break, HRG told Sylar "he's going to take him apart, like broken ... err, timepieces." Back in an apartment in Texas, Hiro and his sidekick waits anxiously for Isaac to paint a new picture of the future, with Hiro's guidance. Back at the Bennett home, Claire, who is clearly freaking out, called her dad. She believes that someone who is trying to get her have gotten to Zach and Lyle. HRG tries to comfort her on his cell phone and told her he's heading home. The Haitian suddenly showed up and restrained her. She then told her that her father wanted him to erase her memory like he did Zach's and Lyle's ... and her mother's many times, but he wouldn't. Oh, yeah, the Haitian finally spoke. We return to Texas, where Isaac finished painting a very odd picture. It depicts Hiro fighting a dinosaur with a sword. Hiro's suddenly very interested in having a sword. Obviously, he will have one since Future Hiro also have one when he visited Peter. We jumped to Brooklyn, where Mohinder received a telephone call from Eden. It would be the last time Mohinder will hear of her as she "set to make things right." She then went to Sylar's cell with a loaded gun, but before she could "command" her, Sylar uses one of his stolen power to pull Eden through the cell's plexiglass. But before he could open her brain and steal her power, she killed herself with the loaded gun. :( Aww! I like her! Nathan Petrelli finally bailed his brother out of the Texas jail. And this is where it gets weird. After having so many coughing fits, he collapsed outside the jail, then found himself back in NY, where every "heroes" and friends he met were there running away from him have looked at him with sadness and pity, except for his brother who stood by him, and realized his body is glowing and ... he regains conscious back in Texas.
