I guess I'll have to be the reader that posts a less than positive comment. I hoped that as I read the Business Stuff section there would've been some mention of the pricing of PDF publications. Mongoose products in PDF format have from the perspective of my wallet, become so pricey that I feel they're out of reach for me. I'm talking mostly Traveler 2e as that's the Mongoose product I homebrew, referee and play. The price of Traveller PDFs meant I didn't buy a single Mongoose product in 2021. With few exceptions, the PDFs I buy for other TTRPGs aren't anywhere near as close to the cost of the printed versions as MgT2e PDFs are. I'm aware Mongoose offers the PDF for free for customers that order the printed product (a truly terrific offer), but I no longer have the disposable income to pay extra for shipping, let alone the shelf space to store them on. I'm also aware the situation is exacerbated by my country's currency, which hasn't been faring well against the US dollar or even the UK pound. Meanwhile, the gaming store scene in my city is the worst it's been in decades (lost almost a double digit amount of stores during the pandemic) and not a single one of them stocks Traveller publications. So even if I wanted to buy printed versions, I couldn't. Of course such stores can order them in, but that's cost prohibitive to say the least. I read in your report that Mongoose has managed to improve the shipping situations for books, making ordering print books more attractive. That's great to read, but unfortunately doesn't do much for customers like myself that prefer the PDF versions. Otherwise, I'm genuinely happy for you and your co-workers for the improving work conditions and environments at Mongoose Publishing.
