OOC [cuz i couldn't fine the OOC thread, it's been so long. My apologies for that.]: Errrr. Gonna defer to Lwaxy for that one? Speaking of, Lwaxy and Leif , you guys still around/interested? If not that's fine! I understand how difficult it is to maintain attention to an online game (way more difficult than I had thought, btw!) I had kinda been going slow, hoping/figuring we'd be ready to "group up" at some point. But if that's not the case, no worries. I have no problem with calling the card playing a wash and saying John has what he was originally given....plus, say 5sp. Very nice narration of the way the card games went. :) Crancy chortles, as he does, scooping up the pile of coins and stacking them neatly. "Not at all, my boy! I wouldnt have ordered it if not to share." After a long slow sip of the lucious deep ruby wine, ended with a satisfying smack of the lips, Crancy responds to John's second inquiry. "Indeed, young master Frankil is certainly not one I would peg for the Brotherhood...but I learned long ago, young Johnnie, as you too would do well, to never second guess or underestimate where the Fathen Brothers are concerned...He could be a fop...or it could be a ruse...though to what purpose I could hardly say. Looking for a gnome...in the Shanties?! PAH. "One thing is for sure, though...he'd have to be the greatest actor in all of Threeways to play cards that badly! Eh?" Crancy bursts into guffaws and holds up the not-so fine goblet of wine from the renowned Larassal region. "Cheers. To Bysdan...n' yer continuing good fortune." He chuckles and takes another satisfying swig [OOC: A tongue in cheek saying, by which he means, your "good" fortune as far as he is concerned. That is your bad luck being good for him.] . Fammi's gravel voice comes grating from the front counter, "Johnnie, yer dog's here!" A menacing growl is the only clue the rogue needs to know that Russ' has been sent to find and collect him. "Aw shut'cher yap. N' you tell Big John to cut the boy some slack." Fammi's barks at the growling grorn. You hear the "chock" of her cleaver and the snapping of Russ' jaws and subsequent loud open-mouthed chewing that you are familiar with hearing. Obviously, she threw him a scrap of something.
