The giant is willing to show any interested parties the rest of his tower. Travel: The tower contains no stairs and magic or rope would be required to travel between floors from within. A brave enough warrior would find the stone outside of the tower climbable. Second Floor: This level of the tower has an 80-foot-high ceiling and tall, slender windows set with panes of stained glass. Furnishings include a giant-sized bed and an enormous wooden chest. Stone shelves protrude from the walls at heights of 20, 40, and 60 feet, and these shelves bear the weight of Zephyros’s vast collection of journals. Floating ten feet off the ground is a reflective orb that the giant uses to navigate through the skies. Next to it is the floating cube that contains the agitated hill giant. Zephyros’s spellbook: The spellbook weighs 250 pounds and has gilded silver covers. There seems to be good number of spells contained inside. The trick is figuring out a way to turn the heavy pages or persuading the giant to do it for you. [OOC] I can provide the full list of his spells to anyone interested. We can retcon that the three days were spent studying or copying some. [/OOC] Library: Zephyros’ library contains over 500 journals written by the wizard. For the past 50 years has been drifting around the Moonshae Isles and cataloging its many wonders, both magical and mundane. Each book weighs 100 pounds, consolidates a month’s worth of research. Aerie: The highest level of the tower has open archways set into its walls. Four Griffons have made nests in the aerie, and Zephyros treats them like cats. They are wild and a danger to smaller folk though. At any given time at least one is present and they will attack if their nests are disturbed. Tranio: Your question catches the eccentric wizard off guard, but he explains that giants experience death just as smallfolk do. The only major difference is in lifespan length. Unexpected Visitors: On the third morning, while Zephyros is in a magical coma, you notice potential trouble in the distance. Nine dots on the horizon head towards the tower. They fly in a v formation, but are far too big to be your standard flock of birds.
