Feathergale Spire Mid afternoon Heading back down through the 2nd level where the Hall is you find it much busier. Most people seem to be servants scurrying about their business and they don't pay you much head. Those that do are helpful. Back at ground level, immediately off the central staircase is the kitchen, which is a riot of activity, the room with the strange plants and sparing partners is also off the staircase as well as a cramped accommodation room. The strange man in robes appears to still be meditating without the need to breath. Heading into the entrance guard room you find Savra and her two other guards. There is a locked door off to one side, though any interest in this door draws scowls from the guards. Heading further down, you come to the stable level where a knight is tending to the animals. The central area hold saddles, bridles and other paraphernalia associated with riding, and there are twelve doors leading outwards. Each leads to a stable with a large exterior door. Four stalls have hippogriffs and four other have giant vultures while others show signs of recent activity. So far you have seen: Savra and the other gate guards, though they appear to not be knights; Thurl and his two knight guards in the hall along with two squires; two knights at the pinnacle; three occupants of the Solarium with the plants and around 6 servants, though some of them could be squires. From what you have seen of the Spire, it could hold 10 to 12 knights and as many squires plus a few servants.
