The door to the Dunn Wright Inn opens and a lithe figure steps through. As the figure enters into the warmth and well-lit area of the common room, you can clearly see that he is a tiefling with the hood on his cloak down as he makes no attempt to hide or obscure his tainted heritage. Large, spiraling horns jut from his skull and underneath his heavy, grey cloak is a thin tail with a barbed end snaking out now and again as if with a mind of its own. He is clad in blackened, studded leather with each piece worn from constant and strenuous use. A heavy layer of dust coats the armor and dried mud clings to both his boots and the bottom of his cloak as testament to a long journey. On one side of his belt hangs a scimitar while on the other dangles a spellbook bound in metal bands so as to keep it from falling open. As he looks about the room, his eyes switch from each patron in a calculating and methodical fashion as he makes note of their weapons and location. Continuing deeper into the room, he quickly locates a dark corner with an open table. Grabbing one of the two chairs, he slides it over to the corner so that his back is to the wall while offering a line of sight on all in the room. He shrugs off his backpack, filled with all the things usually required on long journeys, and slides into the chair. With one hand raised slightly up to grab the attention of the bar maid, he makes an order in a hushed whisper for whatever is cooking in the kitchen as well as a mug of ale. A few copper pieces are dropped into the bar maid's hands before she heads off to grab his order items. The tiefling makes himself comfortable while he waits for his food and drink, taking in the warmth of the room along with the friendly and jovial voices of its gathered patrons. His eyes however still continue to slide back and forth with a masked suspicion and his hand hangs not to far from his coin pouch and, inadvertently, his scimitar. His face, marred by a large and vicious scar from brow to chin, however remains a mask of indifference as he continues to study the various patrons within the inn.
