The Black Hound FAQ

Once upon a time, there was this company called Black isle Studios, a part of Interplay, which made some great games. Several years ago, they were closed down because of mismanagement on the part of Interplay; prior to the closure, two of their projects were canceled: codenames Jefferson and Van Buren. Van Buren was Fallout 3, and Jefferson was... Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound. It really had nothing to do with the previous Baldur's Gate games, but they had to use the name in the title because of their licensing deal with Atari.

Well, The Black Hound ("Baldur's Gate" is no longer a part of the title) is back in development, as a module for Neverwinter Nights 2. You can read more in my Black Hound FAQ. To make everything clear, it is being developed by the project's original lead designer, J.E. Sawyer.
