Merchants often came trough town, some of them from distant lands, and he would spend a lot of his time in the inns and taverns listening to their tales and learning their tongues. </p><p> One group of strangers in particular fascinated him from the moment he saw them. Their strange, mismatched clothing, their tatoos and their exotic speach drew him to them. That and a peculiar sense of kinship.
