I just bought the bundle, but not for the system. I was looking for a coherent source of all the official lore, plus the additional detail all licensed RPGs provide to fill out the setting. It looks like this game does that. You can play in just about any era, from the Butlerian Jihad all the way through the "thousands of years later" books. That's great for me, because I can use that detail and attach a rules system I prefer. I did the same thing when I bought into the Last Airbender Kickstarter. I don't like heavily narrative RPGs generally speaking, but I do like many IPs, and how they are presented in RPG form.
