The Scarlet Dissolutionist Of the myriad cults dedicated to the worship of the Scarlet Witch, few are as obscure as the sectarian cult known as the scarlet dissolutionists. Seeking truth in the unraveling of magic and chance, the dissolutionist learns to coerce, and ultimately control the errosion of fate. This control is very crude, and often strikes the scarlet dissolutionist's allies as well as well as their foes, one reason why those who take this path are primarily loners. Members of this group are drawn almost exclusively from the ranks of hexblades, a sinister group known for their mastery of unluck - most visibly displayed in the hex curse ability. Many hexblades who aspire to this class frequently multiclass, often choosing the rogue class, or other paths to enhance their ability to slip in and out of warded areas unseen. A few multiclassed fighters and rangers may take up the mantle of the scarlet dissolutionist as well, desirous of another, mysterious, ace up their sleeve. NPC scarlet dissolutionists are loners, even shunning each other's company. While rarely villains, their ruthless manners and obsessive natures very rarely make them allies. This makes encounters with such beings quick, brief, and potentially deadly. Hit Dice: d8. Requirements: To qualify as a scarlet dissolutionist, a cahracter must fufill all the following criteria: Alignment: Any non-chaotic, non-good. BAB: +6. Feats: Amazing Luck, Spell Focus (Transmutation or Necromancy) Skills: Knowledge (arcana) 6 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks, Spellcraft 2 ranks. Patron Deity: Wee Jas Class Skills The scarlet dissolutionist's class skills (and the key ability for each) are: Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), and Spellcraft (Int).
