The Waking's average hit points should be 58. WotC uses the mean average rather when calculating hp. d4 = x2.5 d6 = x 3.5 d8 = x 4.5 d10 = x 5.5 d12 = x 6.5 So, 9 x 6.5 = 58. The Dodge bonus applies to only one chosen opponent, so it shouldn't be included in the AC line. Its base attack bonus isn't high enough to give it iterateve attacks with its bastard sword. It would have to have a BAB of +6 or better to get iterative attacks. Also, why is the bite damage so high? For a Medium creature, the bite damage should be closer to 1d3 or 1d4 without using the Improved Natural Attack feat. But never fear! Underdog is here! You can always use bonus feats to pump up the bite damage. ;) It seems to have too many skill points. It should have 36 skill points and you've spent 38 ... unless I miscalculated somewhere which is entirely possible. ;) Climb 4 ranks, Hide 2 ranks, Jump 4 ranks, Listen 8 ranks, Move Silently 2 ranks, Search 8 ranks, Spot 8 ranks, Survival 2 ranks. D'OH! I did miscalculate ... its 8 Search ranks give it a +2 synergy to Survival ... there we go. But remember that only applies when its following tracks so it should be listed thusly: Survival +3 (+5 following tracks) Also, its Jump skill is actually higher since its Speed is greater than 30 ft. It should have an additional +8 to its Jump. Check the description of the Jump skill to see what I am talking about. ;) What's its CR? The save DC should be 14. Save DCs for monster attacks are calculated as follows: 10 + 1/2 Hit Dice + relevent ability score modifier. In this case, you've based the attack on the monster's Con. 10 + 4 (1/2 HD) + 0 = DC 14 But technically since Undead have no Con score they normally can't have abilities that use Con as the base stat. For undead, Charisma steps up to fill the void left by the absent Constitution. Even for abilities that sound like they *should* be Con-based, Undead use Charisma. Given that, this ability should be Charisma-based and have a DC of 18. Also ... is there a save against becomnig fatigued? If not, the CR should be pretty high if everything the Waking touches you with makes you fatigued with no save.
