MAGICAL INNOVATORS There are many wizards and sorcerers on Tur An Tiel, but only a few have become famous for their own magical creations. It takes a special sort of magician to create their own spells--bold, inventive, and intelligent. Or at the very least, lucky. A handful follow. Aurelius, the White Wizard Founder of the Academy of Brael, enemy of the Sleurithian Tower of Secrets, Aurelius was perhaps the greatest wizard the world has ever known. He invented more spells than any other magician, even outstripping the great Findelius, First Archimagus of the Tower. Aurelius vanished in a spell battle with a group of Order of Star Magekillers in -160 BRE, though it is unknown if he was killed. Most of Aurelius's spells have become standards, though the Ultimate Ensorcelment has seen an exceedingly limited circulation.
