It is a large oval pit with a solid inner pillar. From above, the hole resembles an eye carved out of the earth. The Eye of Shum’Morak penetrates nearly a full mile into the earth. * This level consists mostly of natural ice caverns. It has a large icy underground river that has ice floes on it. He has been subdued by Shum’Morak and will obey his commands. * The constructed chambers of the bottom part of the map have their own heat source (magical or geothermal?). The cold isn’t felt until one travels past the double doors of areas 9 and 10. * Naturally a DM/GM can ignore all this and go with their own ideas. Map Details: * Areas 2 a), 2 b), 4 a), 4 b), 5, and 7 have pillars. * Areas 2 b), 4 b), and 6 are on a dais/raised platform. I have an Enhanced version of this week's Friday Freebie for sale here: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/284621/Friday-Enhanced-Map-08022019 The August 2nd, 2019 Friday Enhanced Map product contains a multi-layered PDF (allowing the options of white or black backgrounds, numbered or non-numbered areas, and secret doors on or off) and a zip file with all relevant map files as individual jpg images.
